Now that the hotel’s social media strategy has gone from organic to pay to play, hotel brands are perfecting their strategy for social media to get ahead of the game. Content marketing still reigns supreme for hotels, but hoteliers are never short of seeking new marketing concepts.

Golden Tulip Suites Gurgaon from Louvre Hotels, a brand new upscale hotel in Gurgaon designed to exceed the expectations of a modern traveler with an array of well-appointed facilities and personalized services. Built amidst lush green Aravali Hills scenic backdrop, the hotel is away from the city's hustle and bustle.

Eventum Marketing Services was hired to perform a major strategic review of the social media and to deliver an up-to-the-minute social media strategy for this hotel.

Challenges:

In order to match its scale and leadership role in the luxury hospitality industry, Golden Tulip Suites Hotel decided to further expand its presence on social media platforms while communicating the portfolio, philosophy, and key messages of the company.

The main target set was to update the social media presence of the company to reach a global audience with varied features, raising awareness of the brand's range of goods and services, in a clear tone that communicates its key features.

In a series of engaging sessions on all things social media, we were also called upon to help develop a digital marketing mindset and understanding within the company. We worked closely with the Golden Tulip Suites Hotel’s Marketing Department to create a very specific strategy and implementation plan.

Strategy:

With the main objective (awareness) in mind, we developed a succinct social media strategy that would engage viewers, highlight the entire product range of Golden Tulip Suites Hotel and invest in fostering relationships with fans and followers in order to improve word-of-mouth as well as organic reach and interaction.

At the same time, we planned and organized various meetings for the in-house group managers, personnel, and marketing executives of the company, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the advantages of digital communication as well as its nuts and bolts.

Outcomes:

After a few months, on each social media platform, Golden Tulip Suites Hotel has a vibrant community with which close relationships are formed and maintained before, during, and after the visit of the guests to a Golden Tulip Suites Hotel property, resulting in an increased organic engagement rate.
